HELP Boston, Don't PrayIn the wake of the bombings in Boston, I've been seeing a lot of statuses and journals saying things like "Pray for Boston". Well, that's all fine and dandy, but here's the thing: You're not doing anything. No, really, you're not. Prayer has no effect on someone's recovery or how they can get their lives back in shape after a traumatic event. All it does is make you feel better when you're really doing nothing.Instead, I suggest this: DO SOMETHING.Something as little as a "Get Well" card sent to an amputee victim can go a long way. I got hit by a car in November and after I got out of the hospital, some friends of mine sent a care package with a "Get Well Soon" balloon on it. It really made me feel a lot better. You could send care packages, teddy bears, CDs, or whatever you can think of to everyone affected by the bombing and it will really make them feel better.Another thing you could do is to donate blood or money.
